It’s a well-known fact that life is a little busier with a baby. Using products that are easy to maintain is guaranteed to relieve a little of the stress. At The Living Textiles Company we endeavor to create products that are as easily cared for as possible. All our products are machine washable. Please read and follow our washing instructions carefully for each product. Embroidery (decorative threading) and Appliqué (additional fabric fastened to original surface) feature in almost all of our current ranges. Used to add interest to our products, they are basic decorative techniques but still need to be made as baby-friendly as possible.
At the LIVING TEXTILES BABY & KIDS the quality of these techniques is therefore as high as possible. All our embroideries and appliqués are securely stitched using high density, tiny stitch lengths. This ensures they won’t fall apart in the wash and don’t produce loose threads that will irritate baby’s skin or snag little fingers.
These areas are then finished with double or triple stitching, which prevents unstitching and helps to secure against pulls. The reverse side of the embroidery is always kept clean and tidy. Almost always, LIVING TEXTILES BABY & KIDS will line decorative surfaces so that the underside is fully covered and inaccessible.
Our printed designs are of premium quality. We do not use surface dyes that create a rough hand feel. All dyes used on LIVING TEXTILES BABY & KIDS products are safe for your baby and soft to touch.

When each product is at concept stage, we choose the most suitable yarn and the weave construction that will marry perfectly with the functionality and design of that product.
